The Roller Skating Rink was a very “interesting” project. Art of Timber was approached by the business owner and required a sprung floor for the entire area which was about 1500m2.

They originally had old timber boards over battens which had being severely damaged by moisture. So all flooring was removed, a lot of level was done on the old slab, then the new sprung floor was installed with Karri being the top timber.

The Roller Skating Rink has been running for a fair few years now and we have done subsequent re coats to make sure that it last for many years to come. It was a pleasure to work with the business owner on this project and hope to do many more in the future.
